01 Overview
ARCHIEL Finance ("ARCHIEL", "we", "the platform") is an experimental, solo-built decentralized finance (DeFi) application running on the Arc Network testnet. It is a client-side, non-custodial interface: there is no ARCHIEL backend server holding your funds, and no traditional account or sign-up system.
This Privacy Policy explains what limited information is collected when you use the app, why, and what you can do about it.
02 Information We Do Not Collect
Because ARCHIEL is non-custodial and does not require account creation, we do not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any government ID
- Your private keys or seed phrases — these never leave your browser or wallet extension
- KYC/AML documentation of any kind
- Payment card or bank information
03 Information That May Be Processed
Using a blockchain application inherently involves some data exposure. This includes:
- Public wallet address — visible on-chain to anyone, as with any blockchain transaction. This is pseudonymous, not directly tied to your identity by ARCHIEL.
- Transaction data — swaps, stakes, loans, trades, and bridge transfers you submit are broadcast to the Arc Network and are publicly viewable on the block explorer.
- Local browser storage — used to remember your theme, language, and (for the internal Wallet feature) an encrypted local keystore that never leaves your device.
- Standard web request metadata (e.g. IP address, browser type) — automatically visible to the hosting provider (Vercel) and to third-party RPC/data providers listed below, the same way it would be for any website you visit.
04 Third-Party Services
To function, ARCHIEL communicates directly from your browser with the following third-party infrastructure. Each has its own privacy practices, which we don't control:
- Arc Network RPC endpoints — to read balances and submit transactions
- Pyth Network — for live price feeds used in Futures, Lending, and Stable FX
- Market data websocket providers — for real-time order book and chart data in the Futures terminal
- Groq API — powers Misaki, the in-app AI assistant, including voice transcription when you use the microphone feature. Messages you send to Misaki are processed by Groq's API to generate a response.
- Vercel — hosts the static app and may log standard request metadata
Do not share private information (personal identifiers, mainnet private keys, seed phrases) in chat or voice messages to Misaki. Treat it as you would any third-party AI chat tool.
05 Cookies & Local Storage
ARCHIEL uses browser localStorage to remember preferences (dark mode, language, favorite tokens) and, for the internal Wallet feature, to store an encrypted keystore locally on your device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
06 Your Choices
- You can clear local storage at any time via your browser settings, which will reset preferences and remove any locally-stored encrypted keystore.
- You can disconnect your wallet at any time from the app header.
- You can choose not to use the Misaki voice/chat feature if you'd prefer not to have your messages processed by a third-party AI provider.
07 Changes to This Policy
As ARCHIEL Finance is actively developed by a solo builder, this policy may be updated as features change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below.
